The main protagonist of the piece is the room itself, its walls and columns. It unfolds as it is played with mallets and woodblocks into a room-instrument. The traditional instruments, in this case, assume the role of accompaniment.

Together with Andrea Neumann, the musicians of KlangLab enable the metal workshop and performance space of Seitenmusik to communicate with the audience as the main protagonist of the piece. The musicians act offstage as activators, provoking the resonances of the performance space using mallets and woodblocks. Within the inherent dynamic of the space, traditional instruments sporadically chime in or frame the process, their significance remaining that of ambient sounds.
