Projekt mit Ronja Svaneborg
Premiere: März 15 | Basel M54

Ronja Svaneborg is a Danish multi-disciplinary artist working with sound, installation, performance, text and sculpture.

Through her practice, she speculates on the voice as a bridge between self and other, blurring the distinction betweenindividuals and their surroundings. With a focus on loneliness, polyphonic voicing and the response-ability of the collective ear, she researches attunement and resonance in interrelated listening and voicing experiences: modes of merging with the surrounding environment and participating in an orchestrated feeling of belonging.

Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions, performances and concerts; recent projects include: Ghost Singer, DOCK 20, Lustenau AT; Do I need to move my lips to be part of the choir?, The Poly Listening Club, ZHdK Zurich; Ubiquitous Blow, Sonic Matter Festival, Zurich CH, Time Will Tell, She Already Does, Hordaland Kunstsenter, BergenNO; Exploded, Palazzina, Basel CH; South of the Lighthouse, Vermilion Sands, Copenhagen DK; I will be your space if you will be mine, Kunstraum Dornbirn AT.

Ronja studied Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art and Zurich University of the Arts and is currently a Pre-Doc candidate at the ZHdK programme ‘Transforming Environments‘. She lives and works between Zurich and Dornbirn AT.
