KlangLab beim Festival Rümlingen 2025
8. Juni 25 | Konzert-Wanderung: Le Pont > La Roche Fendue (Le Lieu)
__
Here and there and there (2025)
for bluetooth speakers, 3 percussionists, trombone and e-guitar
Duration: 20'
Composition: Dino Georgeton (*1993) and Zacarias Maia (*1993)
“Here” we find ourselves in one temporality, “there” in another and “there” in another. These temporalities freely unfold, interweave, and collapse into one another. “Here”, under our feet, an electronic reconstruction of the forest, as it was last winter or next winter. “There”, a “promeneur solitaire”, unseen while passing us by. And “there”, again, in front of us, a familiar temporality, unfolding into a form, then falling and rolling out of it.
__
TIMESTRETCH (2023)
version for sounding objects and cymbals (2025)
Duration: 20'
Composition: Fritz Hauser (*1953) and KlangLab Ensemble
The handling of time is the decisive factor in any musical occurrence. Tempo, pause, and silence determine tension and dramaturgy.
The project T I M E S T R E T C H pushes these parameters to the extreme, challenging the ensemble and the audience in a unique way.
